KARAKTERISTIK BANGUNAN RUMAH DAN BENTUK PERMUKIMAN DI WILAYAH DAS CIANJUR, JAWA BARAT

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to (1) Analyze the characteristic of house building in Cianjur Watershed, and (2) Analyze the characteristic settlement form (size, building density, and type) in upper, middle and downstream Cianjur Watershed. This research was conducted in June 2006 - January 2007 at 12 setllements in Cianjur watershed West Java. Standard statistic and GIS was used as a tool to analyzed data.The result showed that : (1) characteristic of home building in Cianjur watershed consist of home with permanent construction (58.33%), scaffolding (35.56%) and semi permanent (6.11%). Average of wide and open space area are 52.4 m 2 and 24.3 m 2 , (2) settlement in upper stream watershed Cianjur have character the following as: settlement with medium size (75%),density of building is dense and included linear-1 settlement.In middle stream watershed has character size small-medium(50%) and medium settlement(50%), density of building is loose with linear-2 and streetplan settlements. Settlement In downstream has character small-medium and medium size,density of building is loose and dense with linear-1type.
