Abstract

Noch vor wenigen Jahren haben namhafte Betriebswirtschafter eine Verschiebung von den Klein- und Mittelunternehmen (KMU) hin zu den Großunternehmen vorausgesagt. Tatsächlich hat sich der Anteil der KMU an der Gesamtzahl der Unternehmen (weltweit!) vergrößert (vgl. Pichler/Pleitner/Schmidt 1996, S.11).
