Citation: A Library Instruction Computer Game.

Abstract

The enthusiasm of a very active group of computer-game players led to the creation of a computer game based on the Readers' Guide. Citation challenges players' skill at using the RG, and by keeping track of the elapsed time needed to complete an assignment, encourages them to increase their skill. Taking a clue from the video-game arcades, the scores of the top ten players are stored and displayed to later players.
