Abstract

This book examines approaches to involving the private sector in preserving urban heritage. These include interventions by public and private stakeholders in Cartagena, Colombia; operation of a mixed-capital corporation in Quito, Ecuador; and a government-induced private investment program in Recife, Brazil.
