TIC y mercado electrónico: ¿son lo mismo en el sector de la construcción?

Abstract

espanolLos mercados electronicos pueden mejorar la eficiencia de una empresa, ya que reducen los costes de busqueda de clientes y proveedores y los costes de coordinacion de las transacciones. Este trabajo defiende que el nivel de aprendizaje y adaptacion a esta tecnologia y el stock de recursos financieros y tecnologicos ejercen un efecto moderador sobre los potenciales ahorros en costes de transaccion. El analisis empirico en el principal mercado electronico en el sector de la construccion en Espana confirma que existe una relacion directa entre ahorros y experiencia, e inversa entre ahorros y recursos de la empresa. EnglishElectronic markets may improve the firm�s efficiency as they can reduce the costs of searching for customers and suppliers, as well as the coordination costs of the transactions. Our main argument is that both the learning and adaptation process to this new technology and the financial and technological resources of the firm may have some influence on those utility gains. The empirical analysis of the main electronic market in the building industry in Spain confirms the direct relationship between learning and utility, and the inverse relationship between resources and utility gains
