Innovation Diffusion and Forecasting Innovation and Knowledge Management Complex Network Analysis Techniques

Abstract

Comparing diffusion of technology by cohesion and structural equivalence shows that cohesion is effective in higher density networks, whereas structural equivalence affects diffusion in low density networks as a mimetic process. A threshold effect seemed to start diffusion in an area where the norm was not to use the technology.
