A Framework for the Design of Management Learning Events

Abstract

This article starts from the notion that management learning events can be designed. The design may be very specifically for one group of people (what might be termed a bespoke event) or for more general use. It may also be something new or merely a slight re‐hash of what has been done before. The article puts forward some ideas and a model which are relevant to all the design situations mentioned above.
