The aim of this research was to explore selected organizational factors related to empowerment of non-supervisory employees in full service restaurants. These factors include selected demographics, and the effects of trust, training, communication openness, information accuracy, and leader member exchange on employee empowerment. Means, standard deviations, correlations, and hierarchical regression were utilized in the analysis. The results suggest that among the eight variables entered into the regression equation, five variables significantly affected empowerment. An R2 equal to .435 indicating that 43.5% of empowerment was explained by a linear combination of the variables.
