Abstract

Les auteurs examinent l'influence de l'entrainement prealable et de l'experience linguistique sur la perception d'un discours en langue etrangere. Dans la premiere experience, ils evaluent l'effet d'un entrainement en laboratoire sur l'habilete d'adultes anglophones a distinguer deux contrastes de langage utilises pour opposer deux significations en Hindi, mais non en Anglais. Dans la seconde experience la performance de 3 groupes d'adultes anglophones est examinee afin de determiner l'effet de l'etude de l'Hindi comme langue seconde pour differentes periodes de temps
