Abstract

The article presents a speech by John Child entitled “The International Crisis of Confidence in Corporations. The speech was given at a 2002 Academy of Management meeting, held in Denver, Colorado. Child addressed the need for reform in corporate governance and understanding. He also noted the need for international businesses to understand different cultural values.
