BLOOM'S TAXONOMY: ORIGINAL AND REVISED

Abstract

This paper discusses about Bloom’s taxonomy which many curriculum planners, administrators, researchers, and classroom teachers at all level of education have used. So the aim of this paper is to know about Bloom’s taxonomy its self and the elements of it. There are two versions of cognitive taxonomy of Bloom, the original and the revision. This paper explains the definition, the teacher’s and the student’s role, the process verbs, the products, the skill that can be demonstrated, and some possible activities and questions. We don’t have to worry about the using the Bloom’s taxonomy and its revision because both of them are giving the students with the knowledge and cognitive process they need for successful problem solving, especially in the classroom.
