Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil ( Studi di Kantor Dinas Sosial Provinsi Jawa Tengah )

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of labor discipline and motivation to work on the performance of the civil servant in the Office of Social Service of Central Java Province. This research was a sample of 167 of the 323 Civil Servants Social Service of Central Java Province. Samples was taken by Proportionate Sampling Stratified Random Sampling, while data collection using Linkert scale. Analysis techniques using test instruments (validity and reliability) to test the quality and consistency of measuring instruments, test model / classical assumption (multicollinearity test, heterokedastisitas test and normality test) to qualify in order equation obtained by linear regression models can be accepted. To determine the influence of the change of an independent variable and the contribution of the independent variable on the dependent variable studied using multiple regression analysis and coefficient of multiple determination with tools SPSS version 11.5. The study states that the Discipline of Work and Work Motivation positive and significant impact on performance of civil servants in the Office of Social Service of Central Java province, both based on the F test and t test. The magnitude of the effects of both variables (coefficient of determination) is 58 percent, so 42 percent is influenced by other factors. Key Words: Discipline, Motivation, Officers Performance ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di Kantor Dinas Sosial, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel sebanyak 167 dari 323 Pegawai Negeri Sipil Dinas Sosial Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Pengambilan sampel dengan Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling,sedangkan pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan skala Linkert. Tehnik analisis menggunakan uji instrumen (uji validitas dan reliabilitas) untuk menguji kualitas dan konsistensi alat ukur, uji model/uji asumsi klasik (uji multikolinearitas, uji heterokedastisitas dan uji normalitas)untuk memenuhi syarat agar persamaan yang diperoleh model linear regresi berganda dapat diterima.Untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh Perubahan dari suatu variabel independen dan besarnya sumbangan dari variabel bebas yang diteliti terhadap variabel terikat denganmenggunakan analisis regresi berganda dan koefisien determinasi berganda dengan alat bantu program SPSS versi 11.5.Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa Disiplin Kerja dan Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja PNS di Kantor Dinas Sosial Provinsi Jawa Tengah, baik berdasarkan Uji F maupun Uji t. Besarnya pengaruh kedua variabel (koefisien determinasi) adalah 58 persen, sehingga sebesar 42 persen dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain.
