Palabras Clave Historia, Psicoanalisis, Recepcion, Kleinismo Abstract NOTES FOR A STUDY OF THE EARLY RECEPTION OF KLEINIANISM IN ARGENTINA (1943-1955) It is claimed that the Klein’s work has been a one of the main theoretical sources in the origins of psychoanalysis in Argentina in the 1940s, also influencing the construction of the set of local psychological discourse in the second half of the twentieth century. Indeed, in the institutional context of “official” psychoanalysis, after the creation of the Argentine Psychoanalytic Association, in 1942, Kleinianism was implanted progressively as a hegemonic discursive matrix,at least until the reception of Jacques Lacan,a thirty years later. From the perspective of intellectual history, will present the first results of a study of the early reception of the work of Melanie Klein. This will place the focus on explicit references to the ideas, theories and Kleinian concepts present in the Journal of Psychoanalysis of the APA between 1943 and 1955 to identify the uses and forms of appropriation employed by the Argentine authors. Beyond a purely conceptual history, we will take into account the complex plot in which these concepts gave rise to new practices and original professional identities.
