Knowledge Sharing Practice in Private Sectors: A Software House Perspective

Abstract

Knowledge sharing is the foundation of many Internet Service Provider organizations. This project provides a detailed review of the private organization’s knowledge sharing with related to individual factors, organizational factors and technological factors on knowledge sharing processes and which lead to superior firm innovation capability. The purposes of this study are to examine the stage of knowledge sharing and to investigate the influence factors that contribute to the sharing of knowledge among the employees in the private sectors. This paper presents an empirical study that examines the stages of knowledge sharing in organization. More specifically, it focuses the introvert behavior of the employees with related to knowledge sharing practice. While describing knowledge management concept in the organization, it should be considered the process of knowledge in organizations such as to store, collect, structure, control, create, disseminate, codify, use as well as to exploit. The leading factors of knowledge sharing will also be investigated. Researcher’s objective was to identify and explore the role of knowledge management practice for this booming organizational knowledge sharing culture. To address this problem, a comprehensive study on the contributing factors is necessary.
