The education legislation warns of the useful of music education in a transversal way in the curriculum of the 2nd Cycle of Early Childhood Education because it contributes to consolidate learning and essential knowledge in that period. However, it is necessary that teacher training is directed to give an adequate answer to the needs of the student body. The research carried out tried to know the opinion of the female students of the Degree in Early Childhood Education, who were studying subjects on Music during the academic year 2017/2018, of two public Spanish Universities, on (a) the importance of the musical fact in the classroom and (b) the consideration of her preparation to face the curriculum through procedures and musical resources. In this way, the narrative method was used for the study of 115 pedagogical stories, through the postulates of the Grounded Theory. The obtained results indicated that the students showed interest in Music and its importance as a stimulating tool in this stage, above all, at the level of listening and singing, especially determined by the preparation of the informants. The emerging conclusions point out that the importance of the musical element as a complement to different activities is a consolidated fact for the future professionals of both universities.
