The purpose of this research is to examine the support of the behavior of mobile payment e-wallet users on the relative advantage of users. There are supporting factors of the relative advantage of mobile payment users including responsiveness, smartness, mobility, ease of use, and usefulness. The research was conducted using a quantitative survey, while the research respondents were mobile payment e-wallet users in the city of Bandung with a total of 200 respondents. Data from respondents was taken through a questionnaire with predetermined answer choices, then data from the questionnaire were tabulated and processed through SmartPLS to determine the factors that could support the increase in the relative advantage of mobile payment e-wallets. The results of the study found that there was good support from the notion of mobility and usefulness in supporting the increase in the relative advantage of e-wallet users. Other factors of user behavior including responsiveness, smartness, ease of use actually have a positive relationship with an increase in relative advantage. However, it does not have a big impact so it is not recommended to be part of the supporting factors for relative advantage. The findings of this study explain the antecedent of relative advantage on mobile payment, where the supporting factors that have an impact on relative advantage are perceived mobility and usefulness. The research findings serve as information for mobile payment e-wallet providers in making decisions to evaluate the relative advantages of mobile payments from the user’s perspective.
