The article notes the importance of using various data sources in the formation of a set of primary information for the subsequent construction of predictive transport models of cities. The theoretical basis for obtaining the necessary geoanalytical data is given, as well as the structure and format of data, the provision of which does not cause difficulties for most mobile operators. As an example, the structure of the primary data set received from mobile operators is given, as well as real indicators of the number of residents of transport areas, obtained in various ways: using statistically collected information by the election commissions of cities, as well as information obtained on the basis of processing geoanalytical data of mobile operators. The article describes the experience of using geoanalytical data in the development of transport planning documents on the example of the city of Arkhangelsk (Russia).
