The article addresses the impact of training on professional development in Ecuadorian organizations, highlighting its importance in improving job performance, employee satisfaction and retention. The results show that well-designed training programs increase employee productivity and efficiency, improving their technical and soft skills. Training also positively influences job satisfaction and employee retention by increasing the perception of professional development opportunities. However, the implementation of these programs faces challenges such as lack of financial resources and resistance to change.
