This study aims to understand the library perceptions of children aged 7–12 through their drawings. Using qualitative research methodology, children were asked to draw drawings of libraries and briefly interviewed about their drawings. Five main themes emerged from the analysis: technological integration, integration with nature, personalized spaces, emotional context, and fun-learning synthesis. The findings showed that children perceive libraries not only as places of access to information, but also as spaces for social interaction, play and personal development. The study recommends that modern library designs should be planned to meet the three basic needs of children: learning and access to information, feeling safe and happy, and interacting with other children.
