Abstract

The proceedings of the second Late Roman Coarse Ware Conference, held in 2005. 73 essays are grouped geographically, but six broad themes predominate - production centres, archaeometry, typology chronology and contents of amphorae, regional contexts, functions of cooking wares, and the place of pottery in the economy. Essays in a variety of languages, mostly English, French and Italian.
