Dieser Beitrag konzentriert sich auf Fragen, die mit Kommunikationsdefiziten und-chancen im Politikvermittlungsbetrieb zu tun haben. Konkret geht es um eine an der aktuellen Forschung orientierte Bilanz zur Rolle der Medien und zur Bedeutung des Medialen für Bestand und Entwicklung der Demokratie in Deutschland.
