Definitions and measures of wellbeing in general and at work are discussed. Comprehensive conceptualizations and measures of wellbeing at work should include three major components: subjective wellbeing (job satisfaction and similar positive attitudes, positive affect, and negative affect), eudaimonic wellbeing (e.g., engagement, meaning, growth, intrinsic motivation, calling), and social wellbeing (e.g., quality connections, satisfaction with coworkers, high‐quality exchange relationships with leaders, social support, etc.).
