Capital social y transmisión de conocimiento en los distritos industriales: el rol de las instituciones locales

espanolEl capital social es un factor clave que tiene especial relevancia en los distritos industriales, donde sus diferentes dimensiones inciden significativamente en la transferencia de conocimiento y el aprendizaje entre los miembros de la red. En este trabajo se explica como las caracteristicas del capital social que mantienen las empresas de un distrito favorecen la transmision de conocimiento. Tambien se analiza cual es el papel que tienen las instituciones locales en este proceso. La revision de la literatura y el analisis realizado permiten extraer una serie de conclusiones y aportar diversas recomendaciones a las empresas y las instituciones del distrito. EnglishSocial capital is a key factor which has a special relevance in industrial districts, where its different dimensions have a significant effect in knowledge transfer and learning between network�s members. In this study we try to explain how the characteristics of the social capital that firms have in industrial district favor the knowledge transfer. We also study the role of local institutions in this process. The revision of literature and the analysis that we develop allow us to extract some conclusions and different recommendations for firms and local institutions
