Abstract

L’indagine empirica sul Museo Storico Perugina, significativo caso di museo d’impresa, mostra che rispetto ai musei pubblici, che pure hanno per mission la creazione di valore per la generalità dei cittadini, quelli d’impresa forniscono normalmente un servizio meglio capace di intercettare un’audience ampia e composita e di raggiungere buoni livelli di customer satisfaction. Ciò deriva proprio dal fatto che questi sono finalizzati a creare valore per l’impresa e che, pertanto, si interessano alla valorizzazione e non solo alla conservazione degli oggetti che espongono, prestando attenzione alle aspettative e alle capacità della domanda, alla cultura del servizio e all’implementazione di un efficace marketing relazionale. Ma per cogliere pienamente gli obiettivi d’impresa ad essi assegnati, necessiterebbero delle ulteriori e molteplici innovazioni di prodotto e di processo che questo lavoro si propone di indicare.The empirical investigation of a significant case of a company museum, the Historical Museum Perugina, shows that compared to public museums, which also have as its mission the creation of value for the majority of citizens, those corporate normally provide a service better able to intercept a large and heterogeneous audience and achieve good levels of customer satisfaction. This stems from the fact that they are designed to create value for the company and that, therefore, are interested not only to the enhancement and conservation of objects that exhibit, paying attention to the expectations and capabilities of the demand,the service culture and the implementation of an effective relationship marketing. But tofully grasp the business objectives assigned to them, they would need further and various product and process innovations that this work aims to indicate.
