This chapter contains sections titled: Q1: What is the nature of the input, and what information about the grammar can the child extract from it? Q2: Does input control either the sequence in which or the speed with which children construct the grammar? Q3: Is the input alone sufficient to explain the child's construction of the grammar, or do other factors contribute to the process of acquisition; if so, how do these interact with the input?
