Abstract

Abstract „Positions and Perspectives of Research on Boys“ This contribution focuses on the current debate on research on boys in which a theoretical discussion is missing. Numerous studies on gender contain an abbreviated discourse. Thus, research on boys still has to develop its own profile. In addition to that, the authors show the need for a theoretical conception of masculinity as a basis for research on boys.
