Sensitivity Training as a Method of Increasing On‐The‐Job Effectiveness

Abstract

Research on the effectiveness of sensitivity training is summarized and sensitivity training is compared to other training methods. The extent of participant involvement and learning through experience are the factors found related to the impact of four different kinds of training, and sensitivity training appears to be no more effective than other methods utilizing these factors. Other factors related to the attractiveness of sensitivity training are analyzed.
