Technology Adoption and User Behaviour Agricultural Innovations and Practices Gender and Technology in Education

Abstract

This study attempts to provide insights into agribusiness employees’ IT intentions and usage behavior in China. The paper proposes an integrated model based on Motivation Theory and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and tests the hypothesis using Structural Equation Model (SEM) and Causal Path Analysis. The results show that positive motivation to use IT by agribusiness employee includes intrinsic goal-orientation, extrinsic goalorientation, task value and self-efficacy. Employee’s intention is positively related to usage behavior.
