Didactique de la grammaire : vers une nouvelle enkuklios paideia ?

Abstract

First, the author describes the birth of the pedagogical grammar within the context of the educative system in Alexandria during the antiquity, the enkuklios paideia, in order to make relative the traditional scolar conception. Then he describes the grammar of a language as a triplet of functions < norms factor, structures regulator, discourse strategies mover > and he gives three tasks to the pedagogical grammar : clarifying and describing work, automatization and conceptualization work, feed back work. The final target of the grammar teaching and learning (french didactique de la grammaire) is the speaker fluency (french habileté linguistique).
