Human Resource Development and Performance Evaluation Vocational Education and Training Education Systems and Policy

Abstract

This report describes in non-specialist terms the findings of each of twenty-one formal studies from Britain and abroad on the impact of training on companies. The report also provides an overview of these studies and of other related evidence. Statistical and measurement problems that commonly occur in studies of the impact of training on companies are discussed, and overall findings reviewed.
