Political and Economic history of UK and US Social Policy and Reform Studies Policy Transfer and Learning

Abstract

This text examines the true extent of policy change in the 1980s, comparing the degree of policy change over a range of areas and explaining why the extent of change was greater in some areas than others. The areas studied include economic policy, industrial relations, housing and social security.
