Accounting and Organizational Management Information Technology Governance and Strategy Big Data and Business Intelligence

Abstract

Performance measurement has been recognised as a crucial element in improving business performance. The aim of this paper is to show that IT is an enabler in the creation of multidimensional performance measurement systems that are based on automated data collection procedures. Several measurement approaches are discussed and evaluated against the needs of SMEs.
