Multilingual Education and Policy Second Language Learning and Teaching Education and experiences of immigrants and refugees

Abstract

In addition to playing a crucial role in immigrant students' bilingual and biliteracy development, community-based heritage language schools are great cultural, linguistic, and literacy resources for P–12 school teachers that can be used to help promote culturally responsive teaching in class.
