This study helped define the local process for front office, housekeeping, and food & beverage employee orientation and on-the-job training with regard to service training. Of the 60 distributed questionnaires given to front office, housekeeping, and food & beverage managers in midand large-sized hotels in the Twin Cities, 20 were returned by mail and 22 were returned by e-mail. A total of 42 surveys were returned yielding a 70% return rate.
