Abstract

Strategic management, grounded in the actual practice of management, is at the core of wealth creation in modern industrial societies and, increasingly, in emerging economies as well. Thus, the primary interest of strategic management scholars is to gain the insights required to explain differential firm performances. Increasingly, the same interest is associated with the core of a great deal of entrepreneurship research.
